Amherst County - The 11-12 year old Appomattox OZone team beat South Boston 9-2 in the semifinals of the state tournament Monday night.
Appomattox advances to the championship game Tuesday night at 7 p.m. against Galax, 13-3 winners over Pulaski.
Appomattox is undefeated and will have to get beat twice Tuesday at the Amherst Dixie Youth Baseball Fields.
