Danville, VA - A Bojangles on the Southside went above and beyond in a fundraiser to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
Tuesday at the Bojangles on Piedmont Drive in Danville, the Bojangles franchise group Tri-Arc said this location raised the most funds out of any other franchise in company history.
They brought in more than $5,000.
Tri-Arc runs stores in Southwest Virginia and northeast North Carolina.
In all, the stores raised $24,000.
"That money is used for sending kids to camp. Kids that normally don't get to go to camp in a normal camp environment. They are sent to camp in an environment that can accommodate their special needs." Tommy Haddock, said president of Tri-Arc Food Systems.
