Update 10:30 p.m.:
Rustburg, VA - Supervisors in Campbell County voted down a re-zoning request Tuesday night.
The applicant would like to make 12 acres of land off English Tavern Road into condominiums. That would require approval from supervisors to rezone from single family to multi family.
The condominium developer had expressed interest in building an access road from Spring Oaks Drive. Residents on that street were against this.
The re-zoning request ultimately failed after all supervisors voted against it.

Rustburg, VA - The Campbell County Board of Supervisors is considering two new locations for a county shooting range.
The Campbell County Sheriff's Office shares their current shooting range with the City of Lynchburg. Officials from the sheriff's office says they need a facility of their own.
Months ago supervisors considered a location at the Brookneal Airport, as well as sharing a facility with Liberty University. Both spots were found inadequate.
Supervisors say finding a perfect place for a range is not easy, but it's important, and they have some characteristics in mind.
"A ravine setting to where you had banks around the outside of it, and it would be somewhere where it's at least say three quarters of a mile away from residents, so you don't interfere with their life, and the pursuit of happiness of residents," said Charles Falwell, the Campbell County supervisor for the Timberlake District.
Updates to come.
