Man Arrested in Double Homicide Case in Henry Co.

Update 11:50 a.m.:

Henry Co., VA - Henry County investigators say they've made an arrest that double homicide case.

Zachary Bailey, 19, is charged with two counts of second degree murder, two counts of use of a firearm in commission of a felony, and two counts of discharging a firearm in an occupied home.

He is being held without bond in the Henry County jail.

The Sheriff's Office says Charles Darryl Fain, 52, and Kathy Fain, 49, were found dead in the home on Beaver Road Wednesday.

As to a cause of death, officials say that blood was found at the scene and one of the victims was bruised.

Investigators say Bailey lived at the home with the victims.

Neighbors say the family kept to themselves but always seemed friendly.

"Pretty scary when you first look and especially people you know. I was hoping it wouldn't be but it turned out to be," said Jim Parrish, a neighbor.

"It's kind of shocking especially when it's right next door," said Albert Ledford, a neighbor.

Update Thursday 10:30 a.m.:

Henry Co., VA - We now know the names of the two people found dead in a Henry County home Wednesday.

Family members say they are Darryl Fain and Kathy Fain.

Update: 7:45 p.m.

Henry Co., VA - Officials with the sheriff's office say Zachary Bailey has been found in Bassett.

He is currently in police custody. They have released no further information.

Henry Co., VA - Officials are investigating a double homicide in Collinsville after discovering two bodies.

Officials with the Henry County Sheriff's office responded around noon Wednesday to 25 Beaver Road in the Villa Heights community.

They found one body in the home and later found another body in a different room.

Officials say someone came to the home Wednesday morning because they could not make contact with the residents.

Sheriff Lane Perry says there were three people living there. They are looking for one of the residents Zachary Bailey, 19, to make sure he is safe.

"We responded to this location and fully checked the residence we discovered another body and we are investigating these now, we have we can't say if right now at this point if the bodies are the actual residents," said Perry.

At this time officials are not releasing the identity of the two victims.
