Lynchburg, VA - Chips actor Erik Estrada and about 200 bikers will be revving up their engines for a good cause this weekend.

Estrada is in the area filming the movie "Finding Faith."

On Saturday, he will lead a Benefit Motorcycle ride to raise money for the nonprofit Safe Surfin' Foundation. The foundation focuses on educating kids about safe online practices.

The ride kicks off at the Lynchburg Moose Lodge 715 at 8:00 a.m. and will end at the Bedford Moose Lodge. Estrada will also make a few stops to meet with fans. Around 11:30 a.m., the group will stop at the Harley Davidson on Timberlake Rd. where Estrada will sign pictures.

Proceeds from the ride will help other law enforcement departments fight online predators.

"We're using again using it for the 'Cop-in-a box' program, which allows us to give police departments some high powered computer equipment to track the predators out there," said Eddie Worth, director of development for Safe Surfin'.

Registration is $20, and for a donation of $5, fans can get signed pictures with Estrada.
