
Update: 9:30 p.m.
Roanoke, Va. - We have an update on the accident in downtown Roanoke late Wednesday afternoon that caused long traffic delays. Police say the accident happened at 5:38 p.m. at the intersection Williamson Road and Campbell Avenue.
Officers say 25 year old Brandon Cummings was driving south on Williamson Road when he struck another vehicle causing a wreck involving a total of seven vehicles. Cummings truck also hit the a building at the corner of Williamson and Campbell. Cummings was charged with reckless driving.
He and two others were treated and released from the hospital.
