Martinsville, VA- Organizing for America-Virginia held grand openings Wednesday in Martinsville and two other Virginia cities for the Democratic Party.
Constituents can meet and share ideas about the 2012 election.
Headquarters such as these will also be used for voter registration and explaining the party's stance on election topics.
"One of the key things that I really like working with this campaign is Obamacare. If someone has a sickness and they want insurance, they are not gonna be denied coverage" said Mildred Thompson, a phone bank captain.
"There is no other system of government in the world where every four years we completely change power without a shot being fired or a revolution occurring so yeah I think it's exciting "said Ward Armstrong, a former member of the Virginia House of Delegates.
There are now 20 campaign headquarters across the state. The other two opening were in Hampton and Portsmouth.
