Update 4 p.m.:
Lynchburg, VA - Officials say the situation on McCausland Street in Lynchburg has been cleared.
Officials were called to the home at 1:43 p.m.
The Lynchburg Police Department says a man was locked inside the home for about two hours.
They finally got the man out of the house and took him into custody. He has been taken to the hospital.
No one else was inside the home.

Lynchburg, VA - Police have blocked off several streets by a Lynchburg neighborhood Thursday afternoon.
Officials with the Lynchburg Police Department responded to a call on McCausland Street for a suicide threat.
Officials say four streets have been blocked off as a precaution.
