Clarksville, VA- On Sunday in Clarksville they wrapped up their Lakefest event out on Buggs Island.
It's been ten years since they played Beach Music down by the lake, so they decided it was time for a reunion.
Folks brought out their lawn chairs, ate, relaxed and listened to a few local and national bands.
They are expecting over a thousand people before it's all over. One lady drove all the way down from Lynchburg and told us why.
"Hang out with good friends, enjoy some good food and cold beverages and just listen to some good old Beach music," said Laura Taylor.
"We decided to bring it back, we had a lot of people that was asking for it and we figured we'd bring it back and have some excitement and entertainment today for the crowd," said Johnny Shriver, Clarksville's Fire Chief.
The Fire Chief also said that this is their biggest fundraiser which helps them buy equipment to keep their Volunteer Firefighters safe.
