Greensboro - Two players from each of the 12 ACC schools spoke with the media Sunday on day one of the Football Kickoff in Greensboro.
Virginia Tech's Logan Thomas and Kyle Fuller were on hand as well as UVA's Perry Jones and Steve Greer. Both programs have been working hard in the off-season to prepare for opening games. The Hokies lost two big wide receivers from last season in Danny Coale and Jarrett Boykin but Thomas isn't worried too much about clicking with the new wideouts.
Logan Thomas, HOKIES JJNIOR QUARTERBACK, said "Well for me it's not really new receivers, they have been here for the same three years that I've been here. I have a pretty good rapport with those guys. For me, it's just getting adjusted to the guys 5-6-7-8 on the depth chart."
UVa's impressive 8-win season last year has the Cavs excited about this season, and with that comes greater expectations.
Linebacker Steve Greer welcomes the challenge and knows the team won't be flying under the radar this fall.
Steve Greer, UVA SENIOR LINEBACKER, said "We understand we aren't going to be able to sneak up on teams like we did last year. We might have a little bit bigger target on our back so we've got to be much more focused and disciplined in what we do."
