FAA Investigates Plane Crash in Henry County

Update Monday 12:10 p.m.:

Henry Co., VA - The plane that crash landed at a Henry County airport Sunday was owned by Martinsville Speedway president Clay Campbell.

Campbell was on board when police say the plane ran off the runway at the Blue Ridge Regional Airport just after midnight.

The pilot had been unable to get the landing gear to come down.

The pilot and all six passengers were not injured.

Henry Co., VA - The FAA will be in Henry County Monday investigating a plane crash.  

It happened Sunday around 12:15 a.m. at the Blue Ridge Regional Airport.  

Police say the plane ran off the runway as it attempted to land when the pilot wasn't able to get the landing gear to come down.

The pilot and all six passengers on the plane were not injured.
