Lynchburg, VA - There's a virus out there and it causes cirrhosis, liver cancer and liver failure. About 4 million people in the US have the hepatitis C virus, and right now health officials are really worried that baby boomers have it and don't even know it.
The Hepatitis C Treatment Center was established in January 2012 as a dedicated center to provide evaluation and treatment to patients with hepatitis c infection.
The goal is to help patients to remain healthy, encourage proactive involvement in their health and to provide interventions that will be beneficial to resolution of the infection.
