Lynchburg Little League Team Loses in State Title Game - WSET.com - ABC13

BRISTOL - The Lynchburg Little League 13-14 year old team lost in the state championship Wednesday 8-7 to the DTQ team made up of players from the Northern Virginia areas of Dumfries, Triangle, and Quantico.

It's the furthest any Lynchburg team in this age group has advanced in 55 years.

The team began play this past Friday and had only one loss going into Wednesday's finals.

With the loss the LLL team finished second out of 16 teams.
