Lynchburg, VA – Some drivers may need to find a different route to work if they commute through midtown Lynchburg.
Starting Saturday, Park Avenue between Kemper Street and Langhorne Road will be closed.
This is where construction work on the Midtown Connector project is going to start. Lynchburg officials say they expect Park Avenue to be closed for about seven months.
They say they've held meetings with emergency personnel to bring them up to speed on alternate routes.
