Bedford, VA- A former Bedford County Supervisor facing embezzlement charges was in court on Friday.
Earl "Tony" Ware is charged with seven counts of embezzlement and seven counts of money laundering.
He asked a judge to amend his bond so he can visit his daughter and brother out-of-state. The judge approved Ware's motion. Ware's charges stem from his connection to the Big Island Fire Department and the estate of a woman named Hattie Routon.
At one point, Ware was the treasurer for the department.
