You will now be able to skip the ticket window when you take an Amtrak train.
Amtrak announced Monday that it is extending its eTickets program to every train within its national network. eTickets let passengers go straight to the gate by printing their tickets at home. You can also use your smartphone to present your ticket to the conductor.
Amtrak tested the eTicket program on five routes before rolling it out nationwide.
