Richmond, VA - Governor McDonnell is raising his glass to Virginia's wine industry for its showing at the San Francisco International Wine Competition.
Virginia wines took home 24 medals in the competition, which featured 4,500 wines from 26 states and 29 countries.
The governor has been a big promoter of Virginia wines.
The state has more than 200 wineries and is ranked fifth in the nation for wine grape production.
