Richmond, VA - Governor McDonnell is calling on Virginians to set aside a day to help those in need.
He joined with the governors of Maryland and West Virginia today to declare September 29th a Day of Service. The day of service will bring together non-profits and faith-based organizations to collect food donations and assist those in need.
McDonnell is encouraging everyone to help by donating canned goods or money.
