Lynchburg, VA – There are a couple traffic alerts in Lynchburg for this weekend and next week.
The Stadium Road exit off the Lynchburg Expressway will be closed on Sunday, August 12 from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. Crews will be installing a waterline in the area.
Also, starting Monday, August 13 crews will be installing concrete drainage ditches on Route 501 between the bridge over Ivy Creek and the light at Boonsboro Road.
There aren't any lane closures expected, but there will be crews working on the shoulder. That work is supposed to last until January.
