Salem, Va. - Salem Police arrested a man Friday afternoon on malicious wounding charges. Police say 36 year old Donald Robinson is in the Roanoke County/Salem Jail without bond on aggravated malicious wounding charges.
Investigators say just before 2:00 p.m. Friday, they got a call about an assault on the 1900 block of Apperson Drive. Police found the male victim severely cut. He was taken to the hospital. Officers say they found the suspect Robinson on the scene and arrested him. Police also say Robinson and the victim knew each other.
