Blacksburg, Va. - Just before 7:00 Friday night Blacksburg police got a call about a suspicious package left along Alumni Drive on the Virginia Tech campus. They called Virginia Tech police.
Around 9:15 p.m. the state police bomb squad came in and found the package posed no threat.
They reopened the area to the public around 9:45 Friday night. Virginia Tech Police would like to remind all community members of the following:
