Downed Lines After Storm
Appalachian Power says it cost them about $37 million to respond to the June windstorm just for Virginia.
According to company spokesman Todd Burns, if you add damage from West Virginia and other states, the total comes to $94 million.
Appalachian Power is planning to apply for a Virginia rate increase in March to recover some of the costs.
There is no word right now on how your bill would be affected, but the increase wouldn't show up until March 2014.
