Danville, VA - After its gun buyback program didn't work so well, Danville Police are trying something new. Officers are promoting a new program called "Where's Your Gun."
Right now, the educational initiative includes a website and classes for young people.
As more funding becomes available, police say TV, radio and newspaper ads will be created.
"Where's Your Gun" will teach gun owners how to safely and properly use their weapons... as well as the safest way to store and care for them.
