Radford, Va. - The Radford City Police Department is trying to find 27 year old Stephany Michelle Akers, also known as Stephany Proffitt. Investigators say the last time someone had contact with Stephany was on August 5 at approximately 2 p.m. in Pearisburg, Va. Police say Stephany failed to pick-up her children, has not had her medication and has not been seen or heard from.
She may be traveling in a 1988 Oldsmobile Cutlass four door sedan grey in color, Virginia license plate XDX-2259. If you have seen or know where Stephany is please contact the Radford City Police Department at (540) 731-3624.
