Roanoke, VA - A Roanoke man has been indicted for second degree murder in a beating case that goes back to March.
Richard Wesley Burrow, 38, was originally charged with malicious wounding in the attack on his 95-year-old aunt.
His case was sent to a grand jury after the woman died three months later.
Burrow is accused of beating Emma Hunter Maxwell, of Roanoke, to death in the Belle Aire Circle home that they shared.
Burrow is in the Roanoke City Jail.
