Update 4 p.m.:
Lynchburg, VA - Officials reopened Langhorne Rd. Wednesday afternoon after a truck hit a power pole and took down several lines.
Hundreds of Lynchburg residents lost power as a result. It happened right around noon on Langhorne Road.
Police shut down Langhorne between Cranehill Drive and the Farm Basket while Appalachian Power crews were out fixing the lines.

There is a detour in place while crews work to get that fixed.
