Lynchburg, VA - Lynchburg Police were the scene right of a two car accident involving eight people Wednesday.
Police say a pickup truck that had seven people in it hit a power pole at the intersection of 12th Street and Buchanan Street.
One person from the pickup was taken to the hospital. An SUV was involved in the accident as well - that driver was not injured.
Crews blocked off 12th and Buchanan for a couple of hours.
Officials don't know what caused the accident. Charges are pending.
