Lynchburg, VA - Future drone pilots are being trained at Liberty University.
The program just started about a year ago, and right now nine students are enrolled.
They're working toward their bachelor's degrees with an emphasis in Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS).
The academics side is being taught at the School of Aeronautics on Airport Road. And students will start learning how to fly the drones this October at Fort Pickett in Blackstone.
