Appomattox, VA - A part of the History Trail is Appomattox is closed because of the recent storms we've had.
The trail is four and a half miles long, and a section of that trail has become dangerous because of fallen trees.
Right now one mile of the trail from the River Ridge Road heading west to Plain Run is closed.
No word on how long it will take to clean up the mess.
Other sections are open though.
