Appomattox, VA - Construction crews are now at work on another restoration project at Appomattox Court House National Historical Park.
A new group has been raising money for park projects this year. The Appomattox 1865 Foundation donated $30,000 to restore the McLean Ice House.
Workers are now digging up logs in the ground that need to be replaced.
"I think you'll see more of these projects between now and 2015, the big sesquicentennial. We want the park looking good," said Ernie Price, Director of Visitor Services and Education.
