Danville, VA - The Downtowner in Danville is almost gone! D.H. Griffin Wrecking Company started demolition last month but a part of the connecting section of the building was left behind.
Well, not anymore. Starting Monday morning crews were out taking it down. North Union Street is also closed right now between Main Street and Spring Street until the work is done.
