Charlottesville - UVa transfer quarterback Phillip Sims out of Oscar Smith High in Chesapeake is joining old high school teammates Perry Jones and Tim Smith in Charlottesville. Having good friends already on the team surely helped Virginia land the former Alabama backup QB.
Tim Smith, UVA JUNIOR WIDE RECEIVER, said "I just told him, you know, whatever you decide to do, I'm here. I have two more years, so whatever you decide to do, I'm gonna work with you whatever it takes to get you on the field here and compete for that spot, I'm willing to do."
