Lynchburg, VA - The man police say was involved in a deadly fight near the intersection of 5th and Polk Streets in Lynchburg will head to court later this week.
Shawn Lee Johnson is being held without bond, charged with second-degree murder.
Police say at around 2:15 a.m. Sunday, Johnson and Thomas Belford got into a fight as people were leaving a party at the Old Dominion Lodge.
Belford was taken to the hospital where he later died.
The medical examiner has not determined an official cause of death.
A judge is expected to advise Johnson in court this Friday.
