Bedford Co., VA - An official step forward last night in reverting Bedford to a town.
The Bedford County Board of Supervisors approved a reversion agreement with the city after a public hearing.
Tuesday night, Bedford City Council members will hold a similar hearing and also vote on the same agreement.
Both localities had already approved this agreement, but state law says they have to reapprove it after a hearing.
A three-judge panel will make a final decision about the town's reversion status.
