Exhibition soccer Tuesday night at LU, the Flames hosted in-state rival Virginia Tech. Former Brookville star and now Tech junior Kyle Renfro started every game in goal last year for the Hokies. The Flames now have two members of JF's 2011 state championship team, freshman Tyler Bullock who scored Tuesday night and freshman goalkeeper Jeremy Lee.
They played three periods with LU coming out on top 3-0. The Flames play another exhibition at UVa Saturday night before kicking off the season at home next Friday night against N.C. State. The Hokies play another exhibition Saturday at William & Mary.
