Halifax - Today's ABC 13 Team of the Week is the Halifax County Dixie Debs softball team.
The Halifax Debs, ages 16-18, won it all August 8th in Powhatan. They captured the World Series, winning the title game over Louisiana 1-0, VeVe Brandon scored the winning run on a game-winning hit by Meg Bane.
Halifax County went a perfect 6-and-0 in the World Series, leaving no doubt who was the champion!
