VT's Farris Working for More Playing Time

Blacksburg - The Hokies hold the first of two open scrimmages this Saturday afternoon, August 18th, at Lane Stadium.

Practice begins at 4, the scrimmage at 4:30.
The other open scrimmage is next Wednesday, August 22nd, also at 4:30.
Rockbridge County's Caleb Farris is the top backup at center and also at right guard.

Caleb Farris, SOPH. CENTER/GUARD (ROCKBRIDGE CO.), said "I'm hoping to get a lot more playing time this year than last year of course.  Working a little bit at guard, rolling with the 1's and 2's a little bit, still playing my backup center role as always.  Anything they need me to do I'm gonna do to get out on the field."

Bryan Stinespring, HOKIES OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR, said "For a guy that you feel like can not only handle one position but play both, I think that signifies what you think about a young man."
