Montgomery Co., VA - The trial of a man accused of shooting a state trooper has been continued.
Jonathan Agee was in Montgomery County Circuit Court Thursday to request his trial be pushed back.
He is charged with attempted capital murder, aggravated malicious wounding, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and eluding.
Agee is charged with shooting Sergeant Matthew Brannock on Memorial Day last year. He is accused of killing his ex-wife Jennifer Agee at a Sheetz parking lot earlier that day.
Agee was supposed to go to trial for shooting the state trooper later this month. That will now be on March 4.
