Amherst Co., Va. - Firefighters in Amherst County spent much of Thursday night on the scene of a house fire.
Crews got the call around 11:30 p.m. about a fire in the 600 block of Lexington Turnpike just outside the town of Amherst.
No one was hurt in this fire, but we have spoken with the couple who lived there.
He is a local artist and is working to salvage what's left of his work.
