Amherst Co., VA – Officials are looking for a woman they say may be responsible for credit card fraud.
The Amherst County Sheriff's Office says they received complaints in July about purchases made on a resident's credit card that they had not made. Officials traced some of the purchases to Wal-Mart and Sheets in Madison Heights.
Officials say surveillance video shows a young, pregnant black woman with short hair using a credit card on July 21 at Wal-Mart. They think she may be connected to the fraud.
