If you like running or biking on the Blackwater Creek Trail, you may need to plan another exercise route for a while.
On Monday, crews will be start cleaning up storm debris and remove trees on the trails. The work will be on the lower portion of the Blackwater Creek Bikeway.
From 6 a.m. – 3 p.m. trails between Mileposts two, three, and the Hollins Mill tunnel will be closed.
The Blackwater Creek Bikeway will re-open every day at 3:15 p.m.
Parks and Recreation officials say residents can use the Point of Honor Trail as an alternate route.
More storm clean up will take place this fall.
