Bedford Co., VA - The investigation into a fatal motorcycle crash in Bedford County continues.
Virginia State Police are handling the crash that happened around 7:45 p.m., Friday on Route 634 just east of Route 760. Officials say a Honda 750 motorcycle, driven by Christopher Reed Routh, 38, of Roanoke was traveling west when it crossed the center line and ran off the left side of the roadway and hit a culvert and then a utility pole. Officials say Routh was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.
