Person Taken to Hospital After Accident on Timberlake Rd. - WSET.com - ABC13

Lynchburg, VA – Police responded to a pretty bad looking wreck on Timberlake Road in Lynchburg Wednesday afternoon.

Police say a pickup truck hit an SUV around 3:30 p.m., flipping the pickup and sending the SUV into the median.

One person was taken to the hospital. The other injured passengers were treated on the scene.

One northbound lane was closed while crews worked to clear the scene.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
