Lynchburg, VA – City officials say there may be some delays on Rivermont Avenue this weekend due to street work.
August 24 – 25, crews will be paving Rivermont Avenue from the Rivermont Avenue Bridge to Jones Street. Traffic will be open, but it may cause delays.
Also beginning Monday, August 27, crews will be doing utility construction from Jones Street to Cabell Street. The project will last about four months, and recommend drivers to use alternative routes.
