Roanoke, VA - Roanoke's Texas Tavern is making some menu changes - and is using that opportunity to raise money for a good cause.
Five of the iconic burger joints' menus were replaced recently and after a number of people inquired about them, the owners decided to raise money for St. Francis Service Dogs, which trains dogs for the handicapped.
After just a day - the five signs have raised a cumulative total of more than $1,800.
"I wanted to get the signs into people's hands and while serving a higher purpose of helping out a charity. So it's win/win all the way around. It really is," said Matt Bullington, owner of Texas Tavern.
The auction ends on Wednesday, so if you want to get in on the bidding just head over to eBay and search out "Texas Tavern Signs."
