Lynchburg, VA - A Lynchburg woman who stabbed her boyfriend to death last year has learned her punishment.
Lakita Miller was convicted of voluntary manslaughter back in May. Friday, a judge told her she'd spend four years in prison.
Miller killed Rodney Phillips Jr. during an early morning party at the Bramblewood Apartments.
She admitted to stabbing him twice, but claimed that she grabbed a knife from the sink and used it to defend herself.
