Lynchburg, VA - Lynchburg Humane Society will be able to help low-income families spay and neuter their pets with a new grant.
The Ryan Newman Foundation gave the shelter $4,000 to perform the surgeries for a free or reduced price.
Shelter officials say the money will cover about 130 free surgeries.
If you're interested, you can call the spay and neuter clinic to see if you qualify. You do not have to live in the city of Lynchburg to be considered.
