Joh Paul ClarkMontgomery Co., VA – A Montgomery County judge has sentenced a man to 15 years in prison for abusing his 2-month old premature twins.
John Paul Clark, 23, was found guilty back in April to two counts of felony child abuse and two counts of malicious wounding.
The Commonwealth's Attorney says Clark's son had numerous bone fractures including 23 rib fractures.
His daughter had similar injuries including a skull fracture.
The children were also malnourished.
After serving his 15 years, Clark will be on probation and will not be allowed to have contact with any kids under age 18.
Since Clark's arrest, the twins have been adopted and are doing very well in their new home.
