Former Danville Schools Employees Charged in Theft Case - WSET.com - ABC13

Danville, VA – A grand jury has indicted a man on more charges related to a theft from Danville City Schools.

Earlier this year, police charged former employee Steven Arender with stealing computer equipment and selling it to a vendor in Georgia.

He was facing one count of grand larceny.

A grand jury has now indicted him on eight additional charges for stealing equipment worth about $134,000.

An indictment was also issued against Matthew Erin Stowe. He's charged with receiving part of the stolen property.

Both men were former employees of the Danville Public Schools Information and Technology Department.
