Roanoke, VA – Officials are investigating two robberies that occurred Wednesday in Roanoke.
Officers with the Roanoke Police Department responded to the 100 block of Westside Boulevard at 9:30 p.m. and spoke with two male teens, a 16 and 17-year-old, who said they were robbed. They said a person demanded stuff from one of them, physically assaulted him and then took money. The victim who was assaulted was not taken to the hospital.
The two teens said as they were walking home after the incident, they were approached by three men in the 400 block of the boulevard. They say one of the three men pulled out a firearm and took an item from one of the victims. The two victims then fled, and no one was hurt.
Police say the group was made of three black men wearing T-shirts and hats.
